COP BASTARD Demo: What to Check
The official demo is Steam App 2174740. It is the safest way to test the no-ADS gunplay, slow motion, performance, and visual style before buying the full game.
Verify the official demo identity
A separate App ID is normal for a Steam demo. Confirm the title, developer targim., and link back to the full COP BASTARD store page before installing. This wiki does not mirror the demo executable.

Use the demo as a five-point test
- Confirm your controller or keyboard layout feels natural.
- Check visibility and performance when effects fill the room.
- Try slow motion during a multi-enemy encounter.
- Decide whether no aiming down sights suits your play style.
- Verify text, audio, and supported language options.
Do not treat demo progress as the full game
The demo proves the central feel, not the complete campaign, achievement route, or Endless Mode progression. Store builds can also receive different updates. Unless the developer explicitly confirms save transfer, start the full release expecting a separate progression path.
Avoid unofficial “demo” downloads
Use the Steam demo button rather than a repack, file host, or custom installer. A mirror that asks for an account password, browser extension, downloader, or antivirus exception is not part of the verified distribution path.
